Hello SpikeTraders,A note on permitted and disallowed picks: we encourage all Members, and especially Spikers to trade their picks, but even if they don’t, those picks must be available for trading. This refers primarily to tickers in which shorting is restricted. Example – VXX, our Silver winner’s pick last week. He did try to trade it and sent us a copy of a message from his broker, rejecting his trade. His was an honest mistake, but please, everyone, be alert to this going forward.

You can’t keep a good man down. Mike C, a Spiker in Florida, won Gold for the year in 2021, quarterly Gold for Q1-2022 – but struggled in the current quarter. It was good to see him earn Gold last week, and his report, especially its last paragraph on lessons learned deserves a close reading.

Congratulations to Spiker Lou C in Quebec on winning yet another weekly Gold. He explained in many of his previous posts that he is a professional programmer who wrote a ‘trading robot’ to implement his strategy. While most of us have neither the skill nor the attitude to trade off one-minute charts, the system that Lou so clearly describes can be well applied to longer timeframes.
