Todays SpikeSpeak may be late tonight before it is posted. We are having a technical issue that is causing me not to be able to post charts. I hope to have a work around soon but tech support is closed due to the holidays. Thanks for your patience!Kerry
Hello SpikeTraders,First of all, a reminder for our worldwide participants: Monday, May 30, all US markets will be closed for Memorial Day, a national holiday. We’ll have a four-day trading week.Good advice is hard to give but even harder to accept. For the past two weeks Kerry and I have been posting comments on Spike (the strongest buy signal in technical analysis) and Spike Bounce signals. Steve S, a Spiker in New York, was among those who took advantage of that. He had already won many Golds trading Spike Bounces, and now did even better with a combination of Spike + Spike Bounce signals. Congratulations!
This week Steve S. wins Gold with a 19.01% gain trading long TQQQ, Rich N. wins Silver trading long UPRO with a gain of 7.48%, and Francis D. wins Bronze with a gain of 5.67% trading long A.
Congratulations to Spiker Nilton D in Illinois. As he mentioned in an earlier post, he was an army officer in Brazil before coming to the US and having a business career there. His latest Gold trade looks like a military operation – parachuting in and helicoptering out, not overstaying on the ground.
This week Nilton D. wins Gold with a 5.75% gain trading long TNA, Nick V. wins Silver trading long LYB with a gain of 4.04%, and Louis C. wins Bronze with a gain of 2.35% trading long NEXT.
Congratulations to Robert James B, our Spiker in Australia, on winning our latest weekly Gold. Trading from Down Under has an additional challenge because of a difficult time difference. The US market opens at 23:30 pm in Sydney and closes at 6 am. Trading US markets from there requires well thought-out plans and limit orders, without watching a live screen.
This week Robert James B. wins Gold with a 5.60% gain trading long SNOW, Louis C. wins Silver trading long NEXT with a gain of 4.06%, and Nilton D. wins Bronze with a gain of 3.45% trading long SVXY.
Sorry for the delay but Spike Speak will be posted later tonight due to a technical issue that I am having to resolve before posting. It will post tonight but maybe late into the night.
Congratulations to Spiker Lou C in Quebec on winning another Gold, using his fully disclosed short-term trading tactic. I plan on driving to my favorite eyeglass shop near Montreal this summer and will aim to organize a SpikeTrade meeting in the area. Maybe Lou will bring his robot on a leash (just joking; that robot is probably just a few lines of computer code).
This week Louis C. wins Gold with a 3.08% gain trading long NEXT, Daryl H. wins Silver trading long BKR with a gain of 2.96%, and Robert James B. wins Bronze with a gain of 2.89% trading long GOLD.
